Finding our Foundation: Reflecting on Black Men as Leaders

Often in the life of an African American there are stories told about their ancestors, and the way they have struggled, but also how they have persevered. At times stories are told of the women who were the saviors at home, but always is a story of how a man has led the way and often shouldered the burden of the entire family. It is with this thought that this exhibition has been curated, to show the reality that men of African descent have been pioneers.
